How To Get Color Oops Smell Out Of Hair

Today we're going to be using some Color Oops hair remover

First of all, I know I look rough, but it's like 9am

I've had a rough morning *laughs*

So it's fine and we're all just going to have to deal with it

So on my channel I've bleached my hair, I've colored my hair

You know, it's time we take a step

and use some color oops hair remover-- hair color remover

Oh my god I hope it doesn't remove my hair, but

um

The reason why is I know it looks like there's barely anything in here but

I want to go back to blonde just because

fuck it why not

and this time it'll be more toned, but the pink hair

dye that's in my hair is still kind of in there

it's just like very slightly in there.

um but I read the instructions

I got the extra strength by the way but the instructions

say it doesn't work on blues, pinks

purples, whatever, um but

I'm hoping that because there's such a little amount

of color left in my hair that it'll take it out

and I won't have to bleach it again because I'm not down for that

and I know it's going to damage the fck out of my hair SO

we're just going to get into this and this time

I'm actually taking it really seriously

because I don't want to fck up my hair

and by really seriously I mean uh

I didn't read the directions, but

I saw like one review video so I kind of know how to do it.

At this point I just don't give a shit about my hair

*laughs* and you know I'm taking it seriously

because I'm actually going to wear a towel around my neck

Because

the last time I bleached my hair I just used like

one of my tank tops and now my tank top is stained

Okay well we're going to brush my hair and you'll see how gross it gets

I think it's just like

the bottom parts of my hair that still have color in it because

what I've been doing is just shampooing the heck out of my hair

I've been like showering almost everyday

just to try to get everything out

okay so now that that's sectioned off

just gonna brush through it really quick

don't call me gross when I tell you that I don't brush my hair

because I look like this

okay so

let me put on the gloves they gave me

they also gave me a hair cap which is really nice because I

never buy hair caps

and then it

ends up making my hair look crazy

I just use plastic bags. Okay so

the thing about this is when my package came I ordered it off

amazon, which is why I didn't know there were different

Color oops products um

there's brass correct, conditioning bleach

color prep, and then there's an extra conditioning

but I only saw the extra strength so that's what I got

um and when it came in the mail

I was out so I couldn't get it right away

and it was sitting in a hot mailbox for like

2 hours so I'm really hoping

that it doesn't explode right when I open it

Okay so here's #2 and here's #1 it says

to pour #1 into #2

let's open it under this (counter)

Alright this one has no protector

OPE it just popped off she popped off honey

Okay so

"Follow instructions inside box carefully. Do not mix stored contents of bottle 1 and 2...."

What???

"Do not use on hair processed with metallic dyes."

"Do not store mixed contents...."

Wait.... so am I supposed to mix it?

Don't keep it mixed and keep it for a long time

Also I have to cut off this tip I think, so I'm gonna--

(sloshing from the bottle)

How has it been 6 minutes already of me filming

Um while I'm applying it (LOUD GASP as the liquid launches itself out of the bottle)

That happened to another girl. I was watching her video, and it happened to her too.

It's burning my skin!!! That's fun okay

I hate using squirty bottles like this

Oh it smells disgostang

I'm really just going to focus on areas that are

actually like really dark

um

because a lot of the parts of my hair are actually like pretty blonde already

So I feel like those parts don't need them

and it doesn't even like feel saturated

What I'm gonna start doing is just putting it in my hand

and then taking it and putting it

(singing) on my hair

Okay soooo

I think it would be boring just to watch me do this

for like

30 minutes so I'm gonna do this to the rest of my hair

and then I'll show you what it looks like

before I hop in the shower. It got on my hand again, love that

And then I'll show you what it looks like

after I shower

Okay yeah, I'm gonna do the rest of my hair really quick

Uh, see you in like 30 minutes

Okay so I finished putting all the stuff on

It smells like eggs

and it smells like the way that ramen tastes

My hair is really saturated

There was a lot more in the bottle than I was expecting because it's liquid-y

It was able to spread everywhere so that's great!

Um, it smells---

Like at the beginning it smelled pretty perfume-y

but I guess that's because the reaction wasn't working yet or whatever

and now it smells real weird

Um, shoot

I never know how to put on caps just because I'm a stupid idiot

I also spilled a lot on my legs

because I would put it in my hair and then it would just come out

I'm so bad at putting hair caps on I have no idea why

it's just a personal struggle

Alright, well, here she is in all her glory

Oh yeah! Look at my tattoo!

You like never see it because it's on the back of my arm. Okay

I'm gonna set a timer for 20 minutes

and I'll come back and I'll show you right before I get out of the shower

20 minutes has passed

It smells so bad (laughs)

Ew it's like gray (laughs)

(fart noise from my mouth)

Oh god that's gross. I hope I really didn't f*ck up my hair.

I-I know it's going to wash out so

the directions said-- I read them and I saw a video

But they said that I just have to put shampoo in

Rinse it out for 15 minutes-- Yes, 15

And then I have to

Shampoo, rinse for 5 minutes, and then shampoo, rinse for 5 minutes

So!

That is about

Uhhh 30 minutes

We gotta take a 30 minute shower boys (laughs)

Alright, because if you don't rinse that well all of the dye won't come out.

because what it basically does is

it shrinks the molecules of dye so that it's easier for it to come out

I'm not that worried, so I'm going to start the shower

And then I'll update you--

Oh, wait here. Let's see the back.

(unintelligible mumbling)

Looks the same as everything else! It's like grayish greenish

It's kinda gross. Okay, I'm gonna go. (laughs)

It smells disgusting

Hi, I'm back, so I spent like 30 minutes in the shower and this is what she looks like right now.

I'm going to put in another clip when my hair is all dry because it's hard to tell

what shade it exactly is when it's wet

because it's darker or whatever. Here's the back

I mean (laughs)

This side turned out brighter than this side, but that's usually the case anytime I do my hair.

Um, but honestly I think it's fine. In the shower, some strands looked a little green

which worried me, but hopefully

I washed it enough so that

A lot of it came out, but I noticed that a lot of it is blonde. There's not a lot of pink.

But there are still some strands just like this one

Not all of it is the same shade of blonde, which I'm fine with.

It gives some dimension to my hair, or whatever. So yeah

probably like at the end of the day, 'cause my hair takes a while to dry.

So....

I still smell like eggs, so I don't think I washed it that great.

And a lot of people said that if you don't wash it that well

Then your hair turns darker

within the next few days soooooo

I don't know what to do about that (laughs)

I mean I'm fine with it. My hair always looks trashy somehow but like

It's fine,,,,

Hi, guys! Okay so my hair is mostly dry

and this is the ending color. I'm pretty happy with it

I'm probably just going to tone it a few times

to get any brassiness out of it, out of the parts that like

didn't have all the color taken out of it or whatever

This side is darker than this side but honestly I couldn't give a sh*t (laughs)

Here's the back

She looks good I think, I can't really see but like I'm not mad

I'm just mad that it stinks. It's kind of making me nauseous

so I'm really going to try to get the stink out

but if I have to sit in the f*cking shower again for 30 minutes I'm gonna cry

'cause it's so boring just sitting in there

Hi! So it's like 2 days later

I washed my hair like 2 times after the last clip I think

because the smell just stuck to my hair

and it was disgusting. It smelled like

Old bread, ramen, and like eggs

It was gross, um, I still kind of smell it

after showering that many times just like when I

put my hair up in a bun or move it around

It's really gross, but I wanted to show you like

how it looks. I'm not mad at how it looks

Some parts are obviously lighter than others

and

all of this is kinda darker

but like I'm fine with that

For me, it makes it look more natural or whatever

or well blended. I don't know. (laughs) Call me out if I'm being wrong about it

or if I look ugly, but I don't think it looks that all that bad. See?

and um I've been trying to tone it

Using this purple toner

It's sort of working. It's making the really light parts of my hair like white though.

So I'm gonna try and

when I have some more free time I'll put it on

to the really brassy parts of my hair

and hopefully that takes out some of the brassiness

I'm gonna step out into the natural light to show you

how it looks just in case the lighting is kinda making it look weird

but yeah um
